Morocco recorded a Bitcoin trading volume of US$6 million, the highest in North Africa. Morocco is positioned 4th in the African continent, behind Nigeria, South Africa and Kenya.
Moroccans are open to digital currency, with peer to peer Bitcoin trading volumes increasing steadily over the years and reaching record highs of 2.18 million Moroccan Dirham in 2020.
