About the team

The Compliance team’s mission is to allow Triple-A to operate and grow in an ecosystem that is in line with international and MAS regulatory standards.

 

What you will do

Your mission is to uphold the highest standards of legal and regulatory compliance with U.S. Laws and regulations.

As a direct report to the Head of Compliance, your role will encompass the implementation and ongoing management of the Compliance program ensuring that our business operations in the United States adhere to all legal standards and internal policies. This will involve overseeing areas such as Sanctions, Know Your Customer(KYC) and Enhanced Due Diligence processes, conducting AML (Anti-Money Laundering) investigations and reporting.

This is a mission-critical role with the opportunity to design creative risk controls, ensure their proper implementation, and see the solutions come to life with every new product or service launch.

Responsibilities

  • Executing against our MTL licensing programme, to obtain licences and/or exemption coverage in all 52 states. Coordinate the licence application process, and liaise with all the stakeholders and act as a project manager.
  • Ensuring maintenance of those licences once obtained, working with all departments in the company, across all offices, to get what US compliance needs and stay ahead of the curve
  • Building out the tooling, systems, and processes required to ensure Triple-A complies with the US regulators.
  • Interacting with and building strong relationships with state regulators
  • Reporting to the Head of Compliance Office as the owner of the compliance function in Triple-A
  • Constantly looking for ‘what’s next’ – as Triple-A continues to launch new products and services, we need to be ready to enable those from a regulatory and licensing perspective

Who we are looking for

The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join the KYC Team as a KYC/CDD Analyst. The primary responsibility of this role is to perform client onboarding, periodic review and ongoing name screening, ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and internal policies. 

The KYC Team supports and works closely with Business Development, Compliance and Legal departments. The selected candidate will report to the Lead of the KYC Team.

  • Client Onboarding
    • Conduct comprehensive due diligence on new clients to assess their suitability for onboarding.
    • Collect and review client information, including constitutional and identification documents, ownership structures and Source of Fund/Source of Wealth.
    • Verify client identities and assess their risk profiles based on provided information.
    • Identify potential risks associated with the business relationship and escalate any red flags or concerns.
  • Periodic Review
    • Perform periodic reviews of existing client accounts to ensure ongoing compliance.

About the role

Triple-A is looking for an Accountant to join the Finance Team and support the accounting and financial reporting process for its fast-growing business expansion.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle daily accounting operations include account reconciliations.
  • Assist in preparation of monthly closing, bank reconciliations, exchanges and partners reconciliation, financial reports and supporting schedules including data entries. Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or variances identified during the reconciliation process.
  • Treasury operations including bank openings and recording of all inter-bank transfers within the group.
  • Record and reconcile intercompany transactions between different legal entities within the group, ensuring elimination of intercompany balances during consolidation.
  • Work closely with the team to ensure transactions are recorded in compliance with the local financial reporting standards/ IFRS.

Job Description

As a Head of Finance, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial compliance and reporting requirements of our operations in accordance with the ACPR regulations in France. You will work closely with our finance and compliance teams in France and Singapore HQ to maintain accurate financial records and ensure our operations are conducted in full compliance with relevant regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain financial statements, reports, budget and records in compliance with ACPR regulations in France, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established accounting standards. Weekly and monthly reporting to Singapore HQ
  • Tax Compliance: Manage tax compliance, including VAT and corporate tax filings, while staying updated on changes to French tax laws and regulations that may impact our operations.
  • Audit Support: Manage financial audits, liaise with auditors, and provide necessary documentation to ensure a smooth audit process.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about updates and changes to ACPR regulations in France, and work with the compliance team to ensure the company’s operations align with regulatory requirements.
  • Reconciliation: Perform regular financial reconciliation, ensuring that transactions and balances are accurately reflected in the company’s financial records.
  • Financial Analysis: Provide financial analysis and insights to the management team, helping to make informed decisions regarding financial strategies and investments.
  • Financial Operation: Manage France business operations, including assessing the impact of all new business initiatives.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously review and enhance financial and accounting processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Communication: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure financial data and reports are provided accurately and timely to support decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in both French and English, with strong communication skills in both languages.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the fintech industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of ACPR regulations in France and experience in ensuring compliance with these regulations.
  • Familiarity with accounting principles and best practices is a strong advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial management tools.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt to changing regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.

Triple-A is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Senior/Lead Back-end Developer to extend and enhance Triple-A’s suite of digital currency payment products. You will be responsible for the server-side web application logic and architecture as well as supporting the front-end in their integration of the API, an overview of the current system can be extracted from the API documentation (https://doc.triple-a.io/). Lead the design and development of Triple-A backend systems and APIs

• Ensure that the platform and system can scale alongside the business
• Have the opportunity to mentor a small team of junior developers
• Develop backend services with emphasis on accuracy, completeness, and performance
• Define software development standards and guidelines within the technology team
• Test software to ensure correctness, responsiveness, and performance
• Focus on security of the platform and related services at all levels

The ideal candidate would have:

• 5+ years of backend software development experience or equivalent
• Strong experience developing in NodeJS (strong experience in other languages may count)
• Strong experience in designing, integrating and developing web services and REST/JSON APIs
• Experience in the design of new solutions and architectures and CI/CD automation
• Experience in deploying end-to-end solutions on AWS or others
• Experience with databases and data stores in general (PostgreSQL, Redis)
• Experience with Unix based operating systems
• Good analytical, problem-solving skills and willingness to investigate complex problems
• Strong communication and organization skills
• Experience implementing and extending complex business logic
