Singapore’s online art gallery RtistiQ accepts digital currencies payments through Triple-A

Rtistiq partners TripleA

Blockchain and NFT have disrupted the art industry on a global scale. To keep abreast of the digital currencies art market, RtistiQ, a Singapore online art marketplace, started accepting digital currency through Triple-A.

The collaboration enables RtistiQ collectors to make payments using digital currency. Founded in 2019, RtistiQ connects contemporary artists with collectors from all over the world. It leverages blockchain and NFC technologies to address the lack of transparency in the art market, providing artists with more secure ways to sell their art online.

“Being at the forefront of blockchain technology in the art industry, we want to empower our artists and collectors with digital currency. Integrating Triple-A’s digital currencies payment gateway provides a secure and transparent environment for passion-driven transactions. Combined with AR and AI, it enhances the art experience multifold in a digital economy,” said Jothi, CEO of RtistiQ.

Today, more creators and collectors are looking to sell and purchase digital art with the promising future of NFT (non-fungible token). The first NFT created, named the Quantum by New York artist Kevin McCoy, was sold at US$1.4 million. Twitter, the social media giant, is also developing technology for its users to change their profile to NFT avatar and display their NFT collectibles.

“We are delighted to be the preferred partner of RistiQ in Singapore. Businesses in the city-state are warming to digital currency with the government’s support in blockchain innovation. We anticipate more partnership opportunities from this successful collaboration with RtistiQ,” said Eric Barbier, CEO of Triple-A.

Covid-19 may have impacted museums and art galleries, but it also accelerated the shift to online exhibitions and marketplaces. Alongside, the NFT boom spurred many art enthusiasts to return to the space and reinvent what NFT can do and can’t do for digital art. And across industries, we see that digital currency has changed the way businesses and people transact.
